A couple of weeks ago we got into the barn and loaded up the outside Christmas deco. Then we took it to our deck area and decorated.
Santa had a fresh coating of snow and looked perfect for the season!
We used the swags on the garage before but changed that up so they were fastened to the deck area, using them to frame Santa in.
We have to tie santa tight to the railing because at times we get high winds, so far he's doing well!
A repeat usage of the tree and some real winter tools stationed nearby (reality)!
A Christmas Tree sign hung on the trellis with some lights.
Out back along the walkway are two nutcrackers and two faux trees I made up several years ago.
Santa at night (one day we have snow and the next it's melted)!
The snowman which we've staged in the area that Santa is, but this year I thought he'd be fun here on the side. Dan had to tie it down quite a bit because of wind. The snowman made a belly flop already!
We added a long string of white lights along the upper edge this year and used the same wreaths and garland as before. We're not big on house light trim because it requires ladder work and we're not as young as we used to be!
So that my Festive Outside Christmas Deco!
Very pretty Liz. I love that you have snow, it makes it seem like Christmas. The lights, the wreaths, Santa and those darling nutcrackers look wonderful. The snowm an is adorable. Sorry about the winds, we had a problem too. A pretty show at night too. Merry Christmas.
ReplyDeleteIt's like a fairyland, Liz! I love your Santa (especially with the snow!) He's awfully cute. Your lights are so beautifully done and those nutcrackers are a gem. Sending you good wishes for a beautiful Christmas. I hope you'll be safe from the forecasted snowstorm, keep power and stay cozy! Merriest of Christmases to you!
