Hot Cocoa Anyone? (T)

Feeling like some hot cocoa for lunch!  Come along and join me!

After viewing Pam's tablescape of Everyday Living I decided to incorporate some blue with tartan.  I layered a white charger, my blue Devon Cottage dishes along with the Toile dishes from Pier 1.(Snowland Village) and Silver snowflakes wrapping the fork and napkin.

Here's a collage of the four different patterns of these dishes.  (Pier 1, Snowland Village)

I put together four different adorably shaped seasonal mugs with candy canes.  You can stir your hot cocoa with them!

I love this swet reindeer face the most!

I reused the arrangement I had in my last tablescape.  I cut pieces back significantly to fit into this candle votive that I'm using for a vase.

Hot cocoa (didn't have marshmallows but will get some!)

My amaryllis are blooming away.  All three colors are out now.

So glad we aren't getting all that snow that's predicted for the East coast, but praying for them as this is predicted to be a big one!

Thanks for joining me!

  2. Very cute. I love the plate settings. The red and blue with tartan looks fabulous. The reindeer does have a very sweet face. Hot cocoa is always a treat on a cold chilly day.

  4. Liz, the blue looks so beautiful with your tartan placemats and the fabulous toile dish pattern. Pier 1 used to have the best merchandise in their stores, I am sad they closed. Hot cocoa sounds good, it is really cold way down here in NE AL. Thanks for the shout out, Liz. Wishing you a Merry Weekend!

  10. I wondered if you guys had gotten any of that snow. I heard Michigan was supposed to get slammed, but if it missed you...hallelujah!!!

You are ready to warm up in style! But wait! Forget marshmallows! Where’s the butterscotch schnapps?🤣🤣🤣

I really like the addition of the blue and white. It gives the design a little extra something-something.

Your amaryllises are so pretty!!!! I’m trying to think of I’ve ever seen them in those colors before? I don’t think so! I think just white! You have the super green thumb! I don’t have the nerve to even TRY to grow those!
