Welcome to my Spring Brunch for the Ladies!
Spring has climbed it's way deeply into my soul! I pulled out my tulips, woodland fern branches and popped in some blue delphinium to coordinate with the tablescape.
Pretty good for artificial- don't you agree!
Mr. Bunny thinks he's hiding as he approaches the tulips to eat!
Susan from BNOTP featured her white bunnies on one of recent posts and showed how she's used them for more than just Easter so I decided to do the same!
This table evolved. I started with the robins egg blue fleur de-lis plate and tried several dinner plates until I was happy. Then I tried various stemware and napkins until I felt I got a look I liked. I don't usually decide on the flatware until I have the other elements in place.
I've had these mini chair napkin ring holders from Pier 1 for several years and never used them- how silly! The napkins came from Pottery Barn a while back. Both dishes came from One King's Lane and every so often I notice them back on line for sale.
For those who aren't familiar with these- there is a ring attached to the back to side of the chair to push the napkin through.
I pulled out my favorite Polish Pottery coffee/tea cups and loved how they worked so well with everything! I have six different cups so I just chose what suited me.
These are my favorite coffee cups. They are perfectly sized for the finger and they hold just the right amount of coffee or tea!
The stemware is by Bahia Bormioli Group, pattern name Rocco
I found Mr. Bunny at TJMaxx and it goes real well with the Pottery Barn bunny bowl that I got recently.
The blue and white pinstripe tablecloth is by Tommy Hilfiger found at Home Goods a while back.
Ahh spring- can't wait!

Pretty! Love the mugs.
ReplyDeleteSuch a lovely tablescape, Liz! Bunnies are so cute to look at anytime! I keep my paper mache bunny out all year! I re-covered him with purple print napkins so he blends in with my décor!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful spring table. That is so funny about the chair napkin rings. Sometimes we buy things and put them away and forget we have them. They are adorable. Love the centerpiece and the bunny. Truly a lovely spring table to enjoy.
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty spring table, Liz. I think those little chair napkin rings are just darling. I love them and have never seen any like them. You better watch or Sheila Williamson will be trying to steal them from you for her dollhouse!
ReplyDeleteCute centerpiece and just a 'happy' looking table. lol xo Diana
LOL about Sheila!

What a fun table for you guests! I love your centerpiece! Thank you for sharing at Dishing It & Digging It!
ReplyDeleteI love your pretty table Liz! Your florals look so real and your bunny looks like he hopped over from Pottery Barn. I can always count on T.J. Maxx or HomeGoods to put a little spring in my step :)
ReplyDeleteIf you hadn't mentioned it I would haven't guessed that the tulips weren't real. Your tables are so inviting and I wish we had a Home Goods here. Thank you for sharing with us this week at Celebrate Your Story, have a great weekend.
