This year's Chinese Zodiac is the (fire) Rooster!
So I decided to feature the Rooster on my tablescape!
I kept the same red white and black coloring going since I just did my Valentine's Day display on the plate rack as seen in my most recent post "here"
I chose this black and white Fleur de-lis tablecloth that hasn't been used in too long.
These rooster plates are one of my favorites! I found these as a set of 4 dinner plates at T.J.Maxx approx. 4 years ago. I love each detail on them.
I added a little Valentine's confectionary to the table! These little mugs are sold as mini shot glasses but I filled them with candy hearts.
Roosters and Valentines!

Hi Liz,
ReplyDeleteI love everything about this Valentine's table!!! We have a Chinese friend who told us Saturday night that this is the year of the Rooster. I was on a big rooster kick several years ago, but after awhile, I dialed it back some. ;) I still love them, though; they're just classic. Your white one is so pretty and versatile.
I love your fleur-de-lis tablecloth -- that's a classic, too. Your chargers, terrific plates, and goblets with the checked napkins inside are so pretty. I always like to put out conversation hearts this time of the year -- they're fun and festive. This is one of the best Valentine's tables I've seen!
Have a great weekend, Liz!
Hugs,
Denise at Forest Manor
Beautiful Liz, you have a great collection of dishes, these are beautiful. Also, love the tablecloth. Have a super rest of the week
