Dining Room Table Dressed for Autumn

I saw the big glazed pumpkin at T.J. Maxx in August and decided I better latch on to it.  I liked it because it seemed a bit more fancy and I like to go with a more polished look on this dining table.

The pheasants were in my deco last year for Thanksgiving and were from Pier 1.  I decided to place them on the candlesticks to add a little dramatic affect.

The candlesticks were new from Pier 1 this year.  The gold accent on them caught my attention.

There is a magnolia leaf wreath setting under the orange pumpkin and the pumpkin has an opening in the back for a candle to be set into.

The white squirrel dishes were sold as candy dishes but all I saw was the cute squirrel and decided they'd be used for decorating instead!  I may re-stuff them with dried Indian corn if I find some soon!

I found the little velvet pumpkins at Cracker Barrel and used some of my supply of faux leaves and such to decorate around the antlers.

So that's my dining table dressed for autumn!

  7. What a lovely Fall centerpiece. The various heights do add more drama and your sweet squirrels are adorable. There are so many items you could use to fill them. So versatile. I, too, am a big fan of the velvet pumpkins this year. They add such a soft and elegant touch to the decor. I hope things are going well in Michigan. Changing colors in your area?
