I cut these Limelight hydrangeas from my back yard.
The apple tablecloth is from Williams Sonoma. I watch for sales and free shipping since we don't have one nearby. It was actually very dull and a bit dark out so I used my tripod and went to manual mode on the camera again to lighten up the room.
I spotted this glass vase at T.J Maxx earlier this summer. I was trying to figure out a way to get the wording to show up better so I added some food coloring to the water.

I snuggled a napkin around the bowl.
I love it when the flowers start to turn to this deep reddish pink color.
I chose to use a lot of white in this setting to separate it from all the harvest colors in the background.
Remember the old adage "An apple a day, keeps the doctor away"!

ReplyDeleteI love it. I love that color of the napkins and I was wondering what you did with the water when you explained. Ingienius or what?! ahahahahah
In love with your harvest colors and items in the background. Makes one want to crawl and just enjoy all the fabulous details and pieces.
Well done!
Hi Liz! This is just lovely! First of all, those hydrangeas are gorgeous and I love how you've folded the napkin under the bowls. The tablecloth is just perfect! Everything looks so nice for fall. Are you getting cool temperatures now! It's in the 50s today! I love it.
ReplyDeleteBe a sweetie,
Shelia :)
Thanks Shelia! Yes we've cooled off quite a bit. It feels good but I did turn the furnace on to take the chill ouf of the house. :-)
DeleteBeautiful table cloth! I love the white dishes you used for this table...highlights the colors so well. Your limelights are a gorgeous color, aren't they? So fun. :-)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Liz! I love how the round shapes of the blooms and apples echo each other and the colors are perfect~wonderful fall table with the pumpkins in the background...love the table cloth!

Liz- What a GREAT looking fall table. I love an apple theme this time of year---as much as pumpkin--apples spell Fall to me, too. Great tablecloth find! Hope you have a wonderful Thursday, Liz. xo Diana
ReplyDeleteI love the hydrangeas!! Clever using the food coloring to highlight the words. Beautiful table!
ReplyDeleteIn re: my breakfast post. J brought me a blueberry muffin from Panera for a "traditional" breakfast this morning.:-) I used it as a photo prop and ate it for lunch!
Hi Liz, Love your gorgeous apple table setting for fall. The hydrangeas are beautiful. Love the vase you found and adding the food coloring was a great idea. Love an apple theme this time of year and your tablecloth is perfect.
ReplyDeleteHave a great day! Hugs, cm
very nice table setting. the green apples provide a great pop of contrast.
ReplyDeleteI have been debating about this tablecloth for some time now. In the store they didn't have it but they did have some great French grain sack type ones. But I held off. I still like the apple better. I just love the colors. Looks great. What are you going to put on top of your cabinet?? I'm short so I like to look UP!!
ReplyDeleteLovely, Liz. Hydrangeas here are turning that deep pink color, and I'm waiting a few more days before cutting a few and bringing them in to dry.
ReplyDeleteYou knocked this table out of the ballpark. Love the napkin snuggled around the bowl pulling the red out of the delightful tablecloth. Your hydrangeas were the perfect centerpiece and your idea of food coloring in the vase was clever.
ReplyDeleteI agree with the first comment that you guests would leave not thinking about the food but how pretty the table was.
Liz,
ReplyDeleteGorgeous Autumnal tablescape using your apples, pumpkins and hydrangea, dear friend!!!

The texture in your round placemat is amazing!!!
