ABOUT ME
Glad to read you're okay. Those pictures were all over the news and Facebook. Manistee, south of TC where we live got the tail end of that storm, lots of wind and rain but that was it. We lived through a Derecho In 2012 in Virginia. We were without power for 5 days and it was 100 degrees in 100% humidity. It was horrible and the worst event I had ever gone through in my life, and to make matters worse, my elderly mother in law lived with us. Fortunately, we were able to hunker down in the office bldg. where I worked (that side of town had power). Our church had power and turned the lobby and sanctuary into an ice station. Many people helping others in need. It's great to see the same in Glen Arbor! Thanks for letting me rant ;)
