Welcoming summer with a Flower Power inspired luncheon!
It's a 60's thing!
Building the platform for this tablescape I chose a flowery placemat.
I blended some classic blue and white with a splash of florals for a fresh summery look.
The cut flowers are from my gardens.
Bearded Iris and Lilacs
I was inspired to use these glass floral salad plates since my flowers have similar colors! The flowers were cut today.
Of course I had to include the birds and bees!
Summertime, summertime, sum sum summertime....
Another 60's thing

Hi Liz,
ReplyDeleteYou sure have a touch for that flower power thing! Awesome tablescape with gorgeous flowers from your garden.
What a beautiful tablescape! Love those summery napkins!
ReplyDeleteThat's so fun, Liz! I love your flower power theme. Your flowers from your yard are gorgeous, too. By the looks of your garden blog, you must spend a lot of time out there. You have the best weather for it during this time of year, so go for it. I've been overheating the past two mornings, so I'm inside by noon. Oh, and, I'm drooling over your royal bee stems!
ReplyDeleteI usually stay clear of anything saying "flower power" ;) but imagining you're in full garden mode I risked ahahahah
ReplyDeleteI'm glad I did. That's a happy and lovely setting. Made me smile.
Enjoy,
Teresa
Very retty your 'flower power' motif setting. The dishes are so lively and happy to go with the flowers from your garden.. I love the placemats with the cut work.

So hard to choose which flowers are more lovely...the napkin rings, the plates, or the real ones. OK, obviously, the real ones are the best, but this entire table is just beautiful!
