Ring Around the Posies!

Time for breakfast!
The hens have circled themselves in a ring around the posies!
Someone raided the hen house and all the eggs are gone!
There's a lot of clucking going on!
 LOL

Franco the Rooster says it's o.k. he can fix this problem!  Wink wink!

The posies are white alstromeria

I brought out the burlap wrapped vase that I made up last year (I did a post on it and you can see that "here".
I see Pottery Barn has a version this year and I saw that Debbie @ Confessions of a Plate Addict did a tutorial on how to make a version just like PB's.  You can see her post "here".  I started out to get tulips but they didn't have them where I went.  These turned out real nice so I'm happy with them.

I think she's winking at you!
Some mixed fruit can be served in these.

I used the woven wicker chargers and the bamboo flatware to keep it casual and organic.  I staged the napkins in the corner so the cute rooster design would show.  The white RL dish below created a little more design interest.

The napkins are secured with these chicken shaped napkin rings made of wire.
I used a medley of checkered patterns.

Ready for brunch

Winter is still with us.
Time for some fresh hot brewed coffee!

  16. There will be a rattling around in your yard and against your back door around 11:30 p.m. or so. Just ignore it. It's only me breaking in to steal everything on this table!!! :-)

Dang, Liz!!! You're just battin' 1000, girl!!! I am a black, white & red girl (OK...that just sounds weird!) from way back, and this totally gets my attention!!! LOVE it! I especially love the checkered cloth. It gives the whole table such a friendly look. It really does!!! And the napkins lend such a terrific touch with just that teensy kiss of red. Beautiful!!!

I am STILL kicking myself for not grabbing those plates when I saw them on clearance at Sears a couple of years back!!!

    This is fantastic!
