I saw this on Facebook

This should make you smile!
Winter Highlights
Perhaps spring won't arrive by the "calendar" date but it's coming- I'm sure of it!!
It's so nice to see the daylight earlier and earlier and the
days lasting longer before nightfall!
Our area has received 183" of snow since last October. I'm hoping all this snow has been insulating things and that I won't see a lot of plant loss.
I hope March finds you all well!
That's a heck of a lot of snow - I hope your garden is safe and sound under it all.
ReplyDeleteEveryone is excited about Spring in your country this year , I gather it been a very cold winter, I have never seen so much snow.
ReplyDeleteMerle..........
I hope you don't see a lot of loss also. My Heather Hill is all dead looking with the zone 4 weather we've had. I'm hoping the snow did not kill them at the roots but only time will tell. It's hard to sit and wait now to see what is alive.

That sign is too cute.
ReplyDeleteWhat gorgeous snow pictures! And that sunset through the trees is stunning. Spring has sprung here and I'm loving it.
Lovely winter scenes breaking for spring soon...I hope!
ReplyDeleteSpring arrived here and if it does the same way in your garden prepare to wet your plants... we went from winter to Spring with 68 degrees in a week... suddenly everything bloomed like crazy and some plants and flowers ressented it. I wasn't expecting to have to water plants in March but yesterday I couldn't turn my eye and wait for April showers - that might or not come.
ReplyDeleteI would like one of the areas in my front garden to have that look that's in your blog header - you know that raphsody of green and some color picking here and there... maybe even a statue. Do you have any suggestion of the plants and flowers I could use - mind you that this a place that will be sunny during all day from May (at least) to October. Your help and suggestions are much appreciated.
Teresa
Oh my-so, so beautiful and so much snow, but underneath it all are your gorgeous plants-I can just imagine the beauty in Spring and Summer, I am so looking forward to seeing it all!
