I thought I'd pull together images of my home this Holiday season and wrap it up into one post.
All my holiday posts can be seen at the top right of the page with the links for December

We will be at home for Christmas and then off to my Mother's to see the rest of the family.
I'm a little heavy at heart this season because our son and his wife have accepted a new job in Oregon and will be moving there very quickly. We're thrilled for him because it's a big step up and a wonderful place to live, however that 2400 mile distance is a bit overwhelming.

I want to thank everyone who has visited my blog and
left so many nice comments. It's been a pleasure visiting so many of
your blogs this holiday season and seeing all the creative and
beautiful holiday decorating.
Have a Merry Christmas and God Bless Us All!
Liz, your house looks so beautiful and festive. You have been busy and it shows. Loved visiting your lovely home and seeing how you have decorated. Merry Christmas sweet friend.
ReplyDeleteEverything is beautiful! So much that I loved in this post. I won't be able to remember all of the things that made me say, ooooo! But I'll start with your mantel, which looks gorgeous, and I love that arched niche above it. How beautiful the room looks with the lit garland over those arched windows. Both of your Santas made me swoon. I love the way you have that one set up in his sleigh with gifts and toys piled into the sleigh. The round table with the pretty Christmas cloth was another fav of mine. Merry Christmas. laurie
ReplyDeleteIt's nearly impossible to believe that one could wrap up so much beauty into one post!!! You always create the most beautiful vignettes, and this year's Christmas offering is no exception. Every element has been just perfect. I LOVE the little deer with his little legs crossed in front of the tree. He's just so sweet! I also really, really like that garland with the cloved oranges!!!!! It reminds me of Colonial Williamsburg!
ReplyDeleteI'm really sorry that the miles between you will be so great, but I hope that you will be able to enjoy this Christmas with only joy and good thoughts between you. Merry Christmas and love to you!!!
Liz, your home is absolutely gorgeous! Merry Christmas to you and your family.
ReplyDeleteBe a sweetie,

Simply gorgeous, Liz! I especially love your ideas for the pretty garland over the arched windows and the red ornaments in the glasses in the china cabinet. It IS hard to have offspring so far away, but at least it's a fun place to go and visit! Portland is wonderful, and we have vacationed along the Oregon coast -- gorgeous! I hope you have a wonderful Christmas!
ReplyDeleteYour home is so beautiful and all of your decor is stunning. I wish you and your family a very Blessed and Merry Christmas. Hugs, Marty

Hi Liz,
ReplyDeleteWishing you and your family a magical Christmas filled with love and laughter. Best wishes for a happy and healthy New Year. Thank you for your friendship. Your home is divine and so festive for the holidays! Blessings to you.
Beautiful Christmas decor Liz. I love your nativity. So elegant! I know how you are feeling with your son moving so far away. Enjoy the time with your family. Merry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteLiz, your home is just beautiful and so are all of your incredible decorations. You have a real gift for putting things together. I love the Nativity in the bowl. That just really sets it off!
ReplyDeleteI am so sad for you that your son is moving so very very far away! All five of my kids are close and it would crush me to have them move away so my heart is heavy for you. Hopefully you can make it there as often as possible! Oh, this modern world we live in where we move so far away for a job! I guess I did it to my mom and so did all 5 of her children (we were terrible!) Other than that, I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and have a fabulous New Year.
Beautiful house Liz, with gorgeous decor and I love how you wrapped it up in one post for us to enjoy all at once! I'm going again for another tour. Merry Christmas sweet friend.

ReplyDeleteHi Liz, I'm trying to catch up with your posts, and I'm so glad I am, you outdid yourself with the Christmas decorations! Everything looks so beautiful! I especially love the sleigh with the toys, that's just darling! Yes, I know what you mean about the move. My daughter is still on the east coast, but the trip back and forth to NY is hard and expensive, so I don't get to see her as much as I would like. You can keep up with your son, though, with cells and computers, I think that helps so much. Guess in this economy they have to do what they have to do, and I'm glad he has gotten a great position! Hugs!
