Kitchen table cozied up!

A few posts back I showed you a cute little cloche I saw at a store.
By coincidence I already owned the
mirrored tray that was used for the base of this design so I was part way there already!

This is my version! I used a much
shorter candlestick. Mine is a mercury
glass piece and I set 2 small candle rings around it.

 The red bells actually jingle!
I put a bottle brush tree inside with
some faux snow and decorative
red and gold ornaments.

I madly dashed for my camera because the sun was out! I only have a short window of opportunity to grab a shot like this! We get a limited supply
of the sun during the winter months here!   I didn't even notice it's shadow on the wall until I put the picture on my computer!

As you can also see I've decked out my chandelier with a wreath I hung upside down and fix with green tie wraps.
I loaded it with clear, white and red ornaments this year.  I piled on some silver edged pine cones and added my red checked ribbon for some extra pizzazz!

I'm enjoying my mornings and seeing this every day! I use these vinyl
placemats to keep the tablecloth
clean! This is a live shot in the A.M.!

  5. Your centerpiece and chandelier are so pretty, Liz. I like the way you stacked the cloche on the candle holder. Love the photo with the sun shining on them. I also have a small "window of opportunity" in taking photos at my house.

  9. G-O-R-G-E-O-U-S, Liz!!!! I have my wreath in the kitchen ready to hang, but I'm not sure it's going to come out so good. I might abandon the idea, especially after seeing yours. I can't get it that good!!! (Ramon is the one who would have to do most of the work on it since I can't get my arms up over my head. You know the rest!!!) You did a FABULOUS job recreating the look you saw in the store with the cloche! I'm duly impressed!!! The jingle bells just make it that much merrier!

  12. The chandelier is just the best! I'd never thought to use a wreath in this way, ... Genius!
You created a perfect replica with the center piece, no wonder you like to spend time just taking in the view! Fabulous.

  13. What a darling vignette you created, Liz! I immediately saw the shadow it cast and was so impressed that you captured it, then laughed when I read that you "found" it when you were posting! Back to the point we all often make that what we see in pictures is often not "visible" without the camera. Thanks for visiting me and commenting on my chickadee dishes/table. ~Zuni
