Last week I created my Centerpiece Harvest Basket and this week I dressed out the table to go with it!
My goal was to create a blend with the popular white look I'm seeing everywhere this year and the rich fall harvest
tones of the season!
Ozzie (formerly Mr. Owl) greets you!
He's a looker isn't he!!
My basket is a blend of rusty orange pumpkins, white pumpkins, gourds, faux leaves, berries and straw.
I played on the white pumpkins with my white dishes.
I chose these chargers because of their leaf pattern and with the rust napkins they help ground the warm fall tones!
The white flatware balances the white plates...the stitched gold leaf patterned placemats add to the rich harvest tones!
A few adornments...and some amber colored drinkware
My cute bird on the acorn was a find at Hobby Lobby...the candle holder was from One King's Lane last winter. I like their rustic look which is ideal for these fall days.
Ozzie and I thank you for visiting!
I hope you liked my blend of white and warm fall tones!
I'm joining Cuisine Kathleen for her
and
Table looks beautiful, Liz. That owl, Ozzie, is the cutest. xo
ReplyDeleteVery pretty fall combinations!
ReplyDeleteSuch a lovely autumn tablescape! I love how you used white and the fall colors, so soft and pretty. You have a beautiful table! We did get lots of rain over the weekend, at times it would be sunny and than an hour or two later rain! Its been a wonderful summer here with hardly any mosquito's. Our summer was so dry. Have a good week!

You have surrounded your perfectly fabulous centerpiece with all the right pieces!!!!!!! I like the way you carried the white from the pumpkins into the dishes. That really helps to break up the saturation of color, and it looks terrific! That was a BIG topic in my class last night. I think a lot of people are afraid to use lighter tones mixed with the deeper ones in their fall decor, but it really does work out. Funny...your owl, Ozzie" has eyes just like Ozzie Osbourne's back in the 70s! Bwahahahahahaha! :-) Gorgeous fall table, Liz!
ReplyDeletePretty as a picture. Love the owl. Your centerpiece is so lovely...those napkins rings are beautiful. Boy, you are on a roll Liz. Looking good!
