All things bright and beautiful, All creatures great and small, All things wise and wonderful, The Lord God made them all. Each little flower that opens, Each little bird that sings, He made their glowing colors, He made their tiny wings. The purple-headed mountain, The river running by, The sunset, and the morning, That brightens up the sky; The cold wind in the winter, The pleasant summer sun, The ripe fruits in the garden, He made them every one. He gave us eyes to see them, And lips that we might tell, How great is God Almighty, Who has made all things well. ~Cecil Frances Alexander |

Such pretty pictures, Liz...except for the frog. What's up with that frog, lady? I'm not going to be able to sleep tonight!!! :-) No, seriously....GORGEOUS photos, especially the one with the sunshine coming through the trees at your house and the one that's an overhead shot of the quaint town. SO picturesque...reminds me of the movie "In and Out" with Kevin Kline. The fictional town he lived in looked much like that. Is that near you?
ReplyDeleteThat picture was taken on Mackinac Island when we were visiting in July.
DeleteOh Liz, this post is so beautiful, the photos are fabulous, the one with your deck in winter and the sunlight, is breathtaking. Have a wonderful rest of today, and a great week. xo
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Liz, absolutely beautiful! xo ~Liz
