Decking the Halls!

Hello everyone!

I've been working at my Christmas
decorating around the house.
I don't rush into things as you can see
(since so many of you are already done!!)
My corner table near the side door
with a burlap cover and a
gold paisley patterned round topper
by Ralph Lauren.
I bought it to be a tablecloth, but after
tossing it on the table the other day
I was sold immediately on using it here.
On my table are three beautiful white
doves that my friend Betty sent me
last year for Christmas. This is the
first time I got to use them.
You can see my Santos Cage Doll
that I've adorned.
She has a tree in the center with
a small candle ring around it and
her wrist is carrying a picture with Mary
and the baby Jesus

It's a 3D picture and I had a hard time
getting a shot of it.
I dressed her bodice with a wired ribbon
that looked like fabric. I made a gentle
fold in the center and wrapped it
around her waist to her back.
Now next to this table is one of my new
pencil trees.  My home is small and
I've scaled things down a bit!
This little tree is 7 ft. tall
 I did say pencil!
 I've got faux berries, poinsettias
and birds on it- it's more
of a woodland theme
 A random collection of ornaments
some new from T.J. Maxx
 Some are from Pottery Barn
like the gold leaf from several
years ago and the new metal
star in the middle (hard to see)
 These cute little woodland birds
are from Pier 1 Imports from
last year.
The dove on top was from a gift
shop a few years ago
 I ordered this adorable tree
skirt from a gal at Etsy
It's two sided so you get two looks
with one skirt! Her work is
impeccable!  I definitely
can recommend her and she
shipped quickly.  I needed a small
skirt for this tree and she had just
what I needed.  I have another I'll
show you when I show my living
room tree.
Isn't it pretty! Her work is fabulous.
I folded it back so you can see the
other side.
See the little beads on the edge to!
It has nice ties to hold it together
and it has a great weight to the
fabric and you can adjust it
nicely.
Thanks for stopping by and
there is more (lots more)
to come!
I'm joining A Stroll Thru Life
for
Table Top Tuesday

  1. Your decorations are coming along beautifully, Liz! I'm one who is not finished yet either. I just finished my tree yesterday and still have to do my front door, among other areas.

  5. Liz, Isn't it nice to be able to take your time decorating and enjoy the process? Your Santos cage doll is one of the most beautiful I've seen. I love how you wrapped her bodice with that gorgeous ribbon, and how she holds the picture of Mary and baby Jesus. Your tree is beautiful, too with it's soft woodland colors.
    All is just lovely.

  9. Oh, yeah...you have been a busy, busy gal!!! Where on earth did you get that great pencil tree??? That's EXACTLY what we need for our house!!! We are SO wanting for space this year, and a super thin tree like that is exactly what the doctor ordered. (Seriously...my husband the doctor told to get out there and try to find one!) I also love the burlap round on the small table. Beautiful!!! You have raced leaps and bounds ahead! I was out running the streets with my crazy cousin today, so I haven't done anything yet. My plan is to work on nothing BUT Christmas decorating tomorrow. I'm not going to take a shower in the morning so I won't be tempted to leave the house! (Too much information? :-)
