Happy Fall everyone!
I was inspired by a posting from Susan @ Between Naps on the Porch
and decided to give it a try and make one.
This is a picture of her finished pumpkin.
You can click on her name and see her tutorial.
She used a napkin ring with an acorn attached, mine has a large flower.
While checking out Michael's for supplies I found
two (and only two) purple flower napkin
rings. The purple was just what I wanted!
I snipped some pieces off of a faux pick I had and glued them by the stem.
Since mine is faux I also put a dab of hot glue at the bottom to keep the ribbon from shifting. And I put some hot glue at the edge of the ribbon and the napkin ring so they wouldn't let loose.
I made this one for my Mom and mine is below.
I decided to try something a little more dramatic and
chose a black pumpkin.
The ribbon has soft shading that goes from purple, gold to rust.
I just scrunched the ribbon up near the top.
There are a lot of great ideas being shared on the blogs!
This one is so easy I had to try it!
There were so many ribbons to chose from-
some even had skeletons on them!
I can imagine many more ways
you could do this.
Give it a try!
Thanks for stopping by!
