I always enjoyed the department store window holiday displays. I've been creating little vignette's here each year and here is my creation for this year!
A Woodland Santa Display
I found these white arched panels at Kohl's. They're sold individually and are meant to be hung on a wall but I got another idea. I wanted to connect three of them to make a unique display piece. Dan put brass brackets on the sides and hooked them together for me.
The Santa is from last year (Lowe's) and I displayed him on a birch riser. The little lanterns came from Pier 1 a while back. The tablecloth is from Sur La Table that I intended to use on the kitchen table but it got re-purposed!
I wrapped the two pictures that already on the wall in some tartan wrapping paper and added a white poinsettia for a splash of color. All of this was from Michael's including the ribbon.
This is the Santa I showed in a post a few weeks ago "here". I got him for 50% off with one of those special sales Michael's offered throughout the season.
I kept fussing around with ideas of how to use this little park bench. I wanted him setting next to Santa but I have to be careful about the floor space since this area gets foot traffic.
So this is my 2015 Department Store Styled Vignette!
This is last year's
I'll give you a close up of the woodland tree in my next post!
